ASPSF welcomes Christine Gronwald as Development Director

Statens NonProfit Arkansa’s single parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) is pleased to be able to advertise Christine Gronwald as her new director of development.

Gronwald started August 5 and brings 24 years of nonprofit and marketing experience to the organization. In her role, she will lead collection efforts to expand support to single parents with low income pursuing higher education.

Most recently, Gronwald served as Director of Development for the East Initiative, where she successfully led fundraising activities and improved donor engagement. In addition, her development background includes positions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Central Arkansas Library System and Central Arkansa’s radiation treatment institute.

Gronwald is also very involved in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Greater Arkansas Chapter. During her 10 years of AFP, she served as president in 2020 and 2021, was elected to various committees and remain active with AFP Global.

Gronwald got his Bachelor of Arts in communication with an emphasis on business and a minor in marketing from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She also has a Master of Business Administration from Capella University, where she trained with awards and was introduced to the Delta Mu Delta Honors Society. She was elected to Maumelle City Council in January 2023.

“I have education at all levels in very high respect,” said Gronwald. “It’s something that has been introduced into me all my life. My mother was a 40-year-old teacher of Little Rock School District, both as a teacher and principal. I believe that growth through education should be available to anyone seeking growth and ASPSF matches these values ​​well.”

A small rock -native, Gronwald moved to Maumelle in 2014 with her husband, Jason; Two Steps daughter, Zoe and Gigi; and their four rescue dogs. She is a member of Rotary International, Maumelle Philanthropists and All Inclusive Playground Committee for City of Maumelle.
