PS Plus Extra October 2024 Free PS4, PS5 Games – Resident Evil Village, Lies of P, Scorn | Game | Entertainment

Sony is about to reveal the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for October 2024. If the company sticks to its usual schedule, the PlayStation Plus Extra games will be revealed at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of October 9th. and PS5 games will be available to download and play less than a week later, on the morning of October 15. Based on a recent announcement from Sony during the State of Play event in September, it appears that Dino Crisis and Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain will be available as part of the Classics Catalog for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. As for the PS Plus Extra games, fans have been trying to predict the lineup ahead of the official reveal.

According to the latest prediction thread over on Reddit, several people believe that Resident Evil Village will join the Extra line-up in October.

With Halloween just a few weeks away and with a sequel reportedly on the way, the addition of Resident Evil Village makes a lot of sense. Considering other games in the series are already on PS Plus, it also feels long overdue.

Various other horror games are expected to appear in October, with titles such as Dead Island 2, The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, Outlast Trials and Blasphemous 2 all appearing in the prediction thread.

Having recently left Xbox Game Pass, first-person horror game Scorn is another popular choice, along with other recent Game Pass titles Atomic Heart.

A game that also gets a few mentions is Lies of P. Inspired by the likes of Bloodborne, the popular Soulslike launched about a year ago.

While it may be premature for Lies of P to appear on PS Plus Extra, it would be a good way to boost interest ahead of the DLC launch.

Elsewhere, games like Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, Twelve Minutes, Final Fantasy 16, Viewfinder, RoboCop: Rogue City, Jusant and Lords of the Fallen are all mentioned.

That’s on top of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Planet Zoo, Hades, Rise of the Ronin and High on Life.

The usual suspects like Sonic Frontiers, Viewfinder, The Forerunner and Suicide Squad also get a mention. One of them will definitely join the line-up this month.

Suicide Squad in particular needs all the help it can get. The live service game has just launched its third season, although player numbers continue to decline.

The Daily Express will update this article with all the latest updates, information and leaks ahead of the PS Plus Extra reveal in October.
